Though they call themselves "democratic" socialists, the intellectual foundation is revolutionary Marxism. Many DSA leaders openly cite Marx, Lenin, and modern Marxist theorists. Their goal is not incremental reform within capitalism but its eventual overthrow through class struggle and state control.
They attack the profit motive, private property, and free markets. DSA platform calls for nationalization of key industries, universal basic income, massive wealth taxes, and "worker control." History shows these policies lead to stagnation, shortages, and authoritarianism — not prosperity.
Through relentless identity politics, critical race theory-inspired frameworks, and attacks on "systemic" everything, DSA seeks to divide Americans and undermine merit, tradition, family, and national cohesion. "Decolonization" rhetoric applied domestically means tearing down Western civilization's achievements.
Non-interventionism for the West combined with selective solidarity for anti-American regimes. They oppose U.S. military strength while downplaying or excusing the crimes of socialist dictatorships and Islamist groups. This weakens America and emboldens its enemies.
